Introducing AI-led Design Testing: Test design concepts in hours

What is Design Testing?

Design Tests allow you to display static images, such as designs of your website or mobile app, and then capture feedback on your designs with our AI-led user interviews. Our AI-led interviewer will then formulate questions to ask your participants based on your research goals, helping you understand their reactions and understanding of the design. As the participants leave their responses, our purpose-built AI helps you dig deeper by dynamically asking tailored follow-up questions based on what your participants answer.

How does Design Testing work?

Adding a Design Test to a study in Wondering is easy. In the study builder, add a Show block and then upload the image you’d like to display in your study.

Participants in your study will be shown your design next to the questions in your AI-led user interview. The AI-interviewer is context aware, and understands the content of your design, what your participant responds to its questions and then formulates follow up questions based on the participant response and your research goals.

Finally, each response you collect in your studies gets automatically transcribed and analyzed by our AI, helping you get insights as quickly as possible.

When should you choose AI-led design testing?

Testing designs ahead of development is widely recognised as best practice.
